Puppy Training Queens – Start Off on the Right Paw!

Excelsior Dog Training’s in-home puppy training program is beneficial in several ways.

First, your trainer can help you and your dog (and other members of your family) bond properly from the start. This is more involved than just loving, feeding, and playing with your new pet–your puppy needs to know exactly where he or she fits into the family and what the expected behavior and boundaries entail. Your trainer has spent countless hours studying canine behavior, psychology, history, and training techniques to ensure your customized in-home training program achieves this goal.

Second, in-home puppy training with Excelsior Dog Training can help your puppy acclimate to his/her new environment. If you already have a pet, we can help the two get acquainted in a way that promotes a positive relationship. We can also help stave off the common problem of separation anxiety by helping your puppy feel comfortable and confident in you, your family, and the new home.

Last, of course, our in-home puppy program can help prevent common behavioral problems or nip them in the bud if certain behaviors have already presented themselves. These may include trouble:

  • Housebreaking
  • Nipping
  • Chewing
  • Digging
  • Barking
  • Hyperactivity
  • Proper leash techniques
  • Separation anxiety

The communication skills you learn in this program will continue to benefit you and your puppy throughout your relationship.

This program is for any puppy at least 7 weeks of age. It’s at this time that a puppy’s behavior is most easily molded. However, if you have an older dog in need of some training, our in-home programs for older dogs.

We are so confident in our ability to train your puppy that if he or she graduates from the puppy training program and then begins exhibiting poor behavior later on in life, give us a call and we will get you back on track for NO charge!

Don’t wait any longer! If there’s a new puppy in your life, call 718.855.4425 or send us an e-mail to start training as soon as possible.
